MAKER movement

The ultimate goal of collaborative and flexible makerspaces is to build new dynamics of higher learning through the realization of collective projects accompanied by technology and encourage empirical research by students (Asry, 2016). This implies breaking down the barriers between formal and informal learning, redesign virtual learning environments, and rethink, also, the design and configuration of the physical spaces of current educational centers. The physical and methodological generation of maker spaces in the current educational landscape entails the inclusion of fertile creation ecosystems that promote meaningful learning and the construction and transfer of knowledge. An interesting path opens up in educational innovation that pushes us to a new scenario.
